NV Equi-Iron is for the treatment of anaemia due to iron deficiency in horses. Iron deficiency results in poor performance in horses. Iron deficiency has adverse effects on the immune system resulting in an increased risk of infection and reduced disease resistance. Enzymes involved in eliminating toxic metabolites produced during hard exercise are reduced by iron deficiency.
COMPOSITION: IRON 20 mg/mL present as Ferric-Hydroxide-Sucrose complex.
