    How is export hay different to ‘normal’ hay?
    It is fully tested. Every lot is cored and tested to ensure full specifications are covered. The quality of the hay is related to energy content – in other words, the digestibility of the fibre.
    When hay is cut earlier, digestibility and water soluble carbohydrate’s are higher, providing more energy and improving palatability (i.e. better value for money!). This hay is perfect for performance horses due to its high energy content, and is less likely to be wasted due to its better taste.
